Wildfire Danger
“Wild Fire Too Close to Palomino Valley ” A wild fire broke out in Palomino Valley on July 3 in the evening. The flames came alarmingly close to the BLM facility. The road served as a fire break, and luckily no flames jumped across the road. The 600+ mustangs that were gathered in June from the Jackson Mountain range near Winnemucca, NV are now ready for adoption. There are some beautiful mares and some very solid stallions (soon to be geldings). Hope that more folks can adopt one of our American Mustangs!
